REPRODUCTIVE CHOICE AUSTRALIA STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Reproductive Choice Australia is a coalition of organisations and individuals who are interested in ensuring that women’s reproductive rights and access to reproductive health services are protected and enhanced in Australia. Reproductive Choice Australia aims to present a united front for the pro choice movement in Australia to federal politicians, and in the national media.

RCA seeks to:

• Maintain, extend and improve women’s access to the full range of women's reproductive health care services, including medical and surgical termination.
• Ensure access to professional pregnancy counselling services that provide balanced, medically accurate information and referrals to all three options with an unplanned pregnancy: adoption, parenting and abortion.
• Advance the ‘bigger picture’ of maximising women’s reproductive freedom.
